Credit Reporting Agencies
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) permits consumers to request a free copy of their credit report once every 12 months from each of the three major credit reporting agencies (i.e., Equifax, Experian, Trans Union). Many consumers use the AnnualCreditReport.com request service.
